Fire Safety Marshall (In-house or Accredited through NUCO, Level 2)

Who should attend?

Any person nominated to be a fire warden in the workplace

Health and Safety at Work (In-house or Accredited through NUCO, Level 2)

 

The course is made up of theoretical sessions. The main contents of this course are:

 

  • The roles and responsibilities for health, safety and welfare in the workplace
  • The value and process of risk assessments
  • The identification and control of workplace hazards
  • How to respond to workplace incidents and accident

 

Safeguarding Principles of Safeguarding and Protecting Children, Young People or Vulnerable Adults (In-house or Accredited through NUCO, Level 2)

 

This course has been devised for those who work with adults who may be classed as at risk within health, social care or education settings. Or who work with young people under the age of 18, we can work with your organisation to ensure that your own policies and procedures are incorporated into the training.

Manual Handling (In-house or Accredited through NUCO, Level 2)

 

A range of subjects is covered that will equip you to:

 

  • Understand the reasons for safe manual handling
  • Understand how manual handling risk assessments contribute to improving health and safety
  • Understand the principles, types of equipment and testing requirements associated with manual handling safety
  • Be able to apply safe manual handling principles

 

Manual Handling Welsh Passport Scheme (In-house)

 

This course is designed for those on annual update or support workers needing this qualification for support transition into care work, or new care workers as part of their wider training package. This training is delivered in-house, so personnel use your organisation’s equipment to ensure staff are taught on the items they will use daily.

All learners will receive their ‘Passport’ document with the training tailored to fulfil all aspects required of the Welsh Scheme.

12D – 7 qualifications

Everyone to attend a One Day Health and Safety Course – introduction to the scheme – 12 people maximum per one day course

Mandatory

  • T1 – mobile works – man and van
  • T2 – standard operations – Traffic lights and Stop and Go – static sites
  • T3 – up to 40mph dual carriage way works
  • T4 – convoy works
  • T5 – multi phase – 3 or 4 way traffic lights works
  • T6 – Supervisors – 1 day classroom based day – 12 no maximum on course
  • T7 – Managers – 1 day classroom based day – 12 no maximum on course

T1 & T2 – 1 centre based assessments then 2 live based assessments. Each live assessment has to be at least 2 weeks apart

6 candidates maximum per day for T1 & T2

T3, 4 & 5 – live based assessments only – BUT must have 3 live assessments
